Virtual Machine Manager Error

I wanted to try practice installing Gentoo in a virtual machine, but I have a problem: When I open Virtual Machine Manager (Applications->System Tools->Virtual Machine Manager in GNOME), I get the error shown in the screenshot. What should I do?

The libvertd process is not running. i.e. your Virtual Machine Server is not on. Start the process and it should work fine.

I ran libvirtd, it gave this error message, but still started:

Code:
14:12:08.534: warning : qemudStartup:565 : Unable to create cgroup for driver: No such device or address
And starting Virtual Machine Manager still causes the same error.
