VIM background color setting no effect
 

well, I just want to set my vim 's background and used set background=dark, but there is no effect. all that I saw was the font become much more big and bold, that's all!!!

how could I make my background's color become another one ? for that:
how could I make my background change into "evening"'s color !

any advice ? I really appreciate of this...

all that I need to do is using command : colorscheme ***(mycolor)
