viewing pictures in command line???


any softwares to view grapihc files like "jpg" in the comman line interface of linux???

PLS HELP

No such software exists as a text terminal is only capable of displaying characters, you will need to configure the X server and install some photo viewing software to be able to view .jpg files.

It depends on what you mean by CLI...? If your refering to a terminal in X-Windows then it is simple. If your refering to Console Mode (no X installed) then it's a little more complicated but possible...

if you set the font size in your terminal as small enough you can see a fairly good representation of the picture

The program -SEEJPEG- allows you to see pictures from
from the command line.
