Viewing another terminal using ssh, etc... is it possible?

Hey, guys... I was just wondering if it was possible to essentially log into a specific terminal (i.e pts/1, pts/0, tty1) in order to view what's going on EXACTLY in that window?

Here's an example to demonstrate what I mean:

Log into sun station.
SSH into linux on pts/0
CPAN some perl stuff on the linux system (it's slow - 120 MHz!)

now, because it's so slow, I want to be able to check it from home, because it takes a few hours to install this stuff on it!!! so....

Log in at home (linux station)
SSH into work linux on pts/1
"top" and check to see if it's still installing (using cpu)
it's not, so I want to be able to see EXACTLY what's going on, so that I can select dependencies to install or skip, or find out if it's completely done installing the packages

Is there a command that will let me do this? - see what's happening on pts/0 on the linux station at work by ssh-ing into pts/1 from home and seeing what is being written to the console???

Thanks a million!

Yes, use the "screen" command (on Linux) to do this.

Maybe you need to install it first?
