videostreaming with apache

is there a free solution to videostreaming in apache?

i would like to know how i could give users live feed from an event by visiting a website...

any help greatly appreciated, thanks!

*edit: the actual connection of the camcorder to the computer and some linux app actually being able to work with it is a whole different story... to be solved at another time in another adventure

Hmm your best bet would be to use WinAMP's little steaming crap.

It is called NSV, I believe they use it with Shoutcast. But that is a thread that has to do with installing it on a linux box.
The only problem is I dont think it will stream through the browser..
