video plugins for mozilla


hi

posting after a long time......just wanted to watch streaming videos in mozilla or any other browser
does any one know anything abt it and how to do it...

You can check out xine ( http://xinehq.de ), and RealPlayer has a UserCommunity RealPlayer that works with Linux. Give those a try.

This uses mplayer. It's very nice. Basically, whenever you go on the internet with a streaming media, it uses mplayer to play it in the browser, just like how you would use it with media player on windows.

So, whatever mplayer can play, you can play it on the browser.
