Video player recommendation

Im surprised to find that my full installation of Fedora Core 2 didnt come with any software for playing videos (as far as I can tell). I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good video player.

If you download apt-get (and I would most definitly use Synaptic, too) you can search for mplayer there... it will get you mplayer and install it for you. it will be able to play tons of video formats
