video conversion utility

hello,

i'm need to convert videos in web enviroment.

1) must support all the formats & codecs - .wmv/.avi/.mpeg/.mov
2) must also be able to generate screenshot
3) shud be command line utility like is imagemagick so i can use automated via cgi script

can anyone recommend something or push me the right way ?

mencoder or transcoder are able to convert from every to allmost every format. WIch format do you want the video to beconverted in?

pretty much .avi /.mpeg/.mov to .wmv
and those screenshots
