Very odd CPAN behaviour!
 

I am seeing some very odd behaviour with my recently updated CPAN. Whenever I use CPAN to install a perl module - all goes well....until I actually get ready to exit CPAN. As soon as I type "quit at the cpan prompt - my machine goes crazy. Starts grinding for several minutes - all the while being stuck on the cpan quit prompt. This is what it looks like while its grinding:

cpan> quit
lockfile removed

We are talking like 20 mins while this thing grinds and grinds away. I checked the cpu usage with top and it shows cpan using 30-40% plus cpu usage. Eventually it completes the process - but it is very annoying. Any one have any idea whats going on with my CPAN?
