Angry Very low fps on DVD playback


Hi all!!!

I have aPentium 4 2,4GHz with 516Mb RAM with an ATI Radeon 9500 Pro video card with ati drivers 3.2.5. and when i'm playing DVDs with Xine, or Ogle i get very slow fps (12-18fps), so it is impossible to look to the movie....

Any help is apretiated

Yes, I am having the same problem. I think it has to do with the DVD readahead and caching. Check out this thread:
