Verifying archive integrity...tail: cannot open `+6' for reading

I have installed RHEL 5.0,extracted "sysmgmt.bin" from a remote location.
Tried to execute "sysmgmt.bin" but ended up with the following error
"Verifying archive integrity...tail: cannot open `+6' for reading: No such file or directory
Error in check sums 4239554147 3984453378".

The "sysmgmt.bin" works fine when i tried to execute on RHEL3.0 or 4.0.

If that same file works on the remote system, but not your local system and you transferred it via FTP, did you use text mode or binary mode?
