VBR with Lame in Grip

I am trying to get Variable Bit Rate to work within Grip but have had no avail while using Lame. My command line is -h -b %b %w %m and that works fine except it sets a consant bitrate. I would like to use VBR and from what I understand the command line would be [i[-h -v %b %w %m[/i] It rips fine but then it will not encode at all. I have looked around Google and haven't found any help.

Thanks
Brandon Bell

I think I'm using something like...

-h -v -V 4 %w %m
