Question VB Replacement for Linux?

Let's just be honest here. I miss Visual Basic from my Windows days. I was wondering- is there a Linux replacement for this "programming for idiots" type app? Thanks.

Check out The Mono-Project. I believe the "Mono Basic" part of it is intended to be like VB.Net for linux.

Don't forget Kbasic, it's due out in march of this year and has a free personal version and a $29.00 pro version that is supposed to be VB compliant as well as Qbasic 1.1 and 4.5 compliant as well OOP

can be found at :http://www.kbasic.de/
