v4l2 API for resolution of webcam

I use webcam(zc301)to capture image, but I know that this webcam only support two kinds of resolution(320x240 and 640 x 480),if I want to retrieve another size(like 512*512) pixel image from it , the driver will return the nearest available resolution(640 x 480).

so if I don't know what kind of resolution that webcam supported, how can I get the resolution list supported by the camera with the v4l2 API?
