UUCP and Mail Client

Hello.
I receive my e-mail via UUCP. I've installed and configured UUCP on my linux machine, but I'd like to view mail in a mail client like thunderbird. In Windows I used UUConnect, it was a gate between UUCP and POP3. Is there any way in Linux to do so?
Thanks.
