utility to partition & format Mac PPC compatible partitions from Fedora Core 3
We have an urgent need to source or find a suitable program which will install and run on a stable Fedora 3 Core OS installation that will successfully partition and format later Power PC Partitions on the same box (PC) as we are running Fedora 3 Core.
The HDD will be an old ATA IDE Ultra 100 40gig Drive.
I think there are about 3 (three) main partitioning schemes with the later G4+ they are HFS and a HFS+ (perhaps also called HFS Extended) and I THINK a UDF type of partition. The later 8.x.x versions of Darwin seem to use a Apple_HFS partition system.
FC 3's fdisk only seems to list the UDF or what ever it is for Darwin but doesn't seem to have an Apple HFS option Qtparted doesn't touch into the Apple/Mac Arena at all.
ANY fast, quick advice or help would be appreciated.
kindest regards to all
