As far as I know, you need to download the Linux files. You may try it without downloading them (from wine), but I'm not sure if it works and it's not a good idea - performance of Linux verson will be much better.

If you bought the game, it's on Cd 3.
If you didn't buy it, you can download the demo. In either case, wine is not needed.

Seems like that's what somebody showed me an article on, but it didn't say what CD it was on.

CD3 under the root directory is a script called linux_installer.sh (#./linux_installer.sh), make sure to have a disk (not necesarily a game disk) in all your removable media drives, including floppy otherwise the installer will complaint about not being able to mount them.

yes its there ive installed it. it runs great
but during the install it asks for cd's eg. "play CD"
the installer doesn't know what it wants
start with the 3rd CD run the install => "./linux_installer.sh"
then give it the 1st CD then 2nd and the 3rdCD
and it didnt even need a floppy in the drive
dont worry bout the error
IT WORKS!!

Something I learned: Be sure you keep the CD drives full even if you aren't using them. ...otherwise it takes forever once Linux starts looking at them and one's empty. ...so I always keep disks in all my drives other than my floppy. That's a good tip though.
