Using Mutt To Read Email

When I am attempting to read email using mutt:

Code:

[carlwill@mail ~]$ mutt -f Maildir/
I am always asked:

Quote:

/home/carlwill/Mail does not exist. Create it? ([yes]/no):
I always say "No" but this is rather annoying and I don't understand why Mutt wants to create this file. Is there a way to disable this? I read the man page for Mutt and perhaps I missed it but if anyone could assist me, I would be greatly appreciated!

I think you might want to set your mailbox in muttrc to ~/Maildir/. Maybe it is looking for a default mailbox in ~/Mail...
