using itunes on wine?
 

hi,

I heard that you can sync your iPod using iTunes running on wine. I know you need a wine patch, is there anyway I can get this patch and just patch it myself?

I don't necessarily need to use iTunes on wine if there's a way to sync my iPod with amarok or anything else that runs natively on Linux

is there something out there that lets me do this?
my iPod has been jailbroken, so I can put anything on there I need

thanks for the songbird thing, but i guess my iPod touch isn't supported by anything yet.

but by any chance, is there someone that has this magic wine patch or knows where i can get it? or better, knows who made it?

ipod detection should depend solely on itunes, right?
but my ipod touch is not detected under itunes. it may be because it was locally recognized as a camera (?) is there a way to fix this?

i did find this thing called libipod, could this be of any use?
