using home and end keys via ssh putty

Anyone know how I can get my home and end keys working on my ssh client putty? When I press home or end, I get a ~ character. The server is running debian if that matters.

Change your Terminal Emulation to "linux"

Connection-> Data -> Terminal-Type String = linux
