using gnu c compiler to compile objective c

How do I add objective c support in the the gnu c compiler? I realize I will probably have to recompile gnu c. But I don't know the exact ins and outs. I'm using gnu gcc 3.2.1 at the moment, which I compiled from source. At the moment i'm using LFS.
Do I need to download an patch? Do I have enough if I have the gcc source and I just need to recompile with an extra configure option?
Thanks
