Using bluetooth in Element distro

Hello all,
I'm trying to use my new bluetooth headset with the Element distro but I can't make it work... The headset is detected by the 'Bluetooth Applet 1.8' tool, a Bluetooth manager for the GNOME desktop from bluez.org but I can't see it as an option in any of the multimedia players and the sound still comes from the speakers...
Anyone has experience with the Element distro (http://www.elementmypc.com/main/index.php) and bluetooth?
thanks in advance,
Pedro
