Using an eBook
I just downloaded an eBook off of Pirate Bay (don't tell anyone) and have no idea what I am supposed to do with it. It came down in 11 folders and each folder has about 18 .mp3 files in it. I would like to get this on my iPod via Banshee but have no idea where to start. Any thoughts?
Sounds like you just need to put the tracks on your iPod like you would any other MP3. Not sure where the confusion is. Have you tried to sync the tracks to your device and failed?

Too late you've told everyone that reads this thread
From all that I've read you need to import them into iTunes first. Depending on what generation iPod you can replace the firmware with Rockbox then you can just copy them over without iTunes, like you would with any other media player.

Under 'Libraries' there is something called 'Audiobooks' (along with 'Music' and 'Videos'). If I right click Audiobooks I get and option to 'Import Media'. I choose that and browse to the folder that contains the mp3 files and nothing seems to happen, they never show up. I assumed because of the Audiobook library that there was a specific way to import an ebook.

What I have now done is place the audiobook in my music library and then dragged it over to 'Audiobooks', now Banshee sees it as an audiobook; however, I cannot sync it to my iPod. When I choose 'Audiobooks: Sync Entire Library' then hit 'sync', in the lower left hand corner it shows that it is syncing but it never stops and the audiobook never ends up on the iPod. It plays fine in Banshee I just can't get it to the iPod. Any thoughts?

The only reason I don't delete this thread & give each one of you a one day suspension from LQ is that that is not how the mod team currently enforces this rule.
leupi,
If there is any way that you can prove to me that your copy of the e-book in question does not violate its copyright, e-mail me proof & I will consider re-opening this thread.
BTW, even if you have a legitimate copy, your phrasing of your OP makes LQ look bad.
