using 'Smart Common Input Method platform (SCIM)' in Debian jessie
i installed 'scim' through synaptic package management in Debian 'Jessie' in order to input chinese characters. installation went well, no error.
I used to be able to launch scim by pressing control+space in debian squeeze& wheezy. but i now couldn't figure out how to launch the application in 'Jessie'. control+space doesn't do anything, and if i typed 'scim' from command line, it displays some info and just hangs there. any suggestions? |
