Unhappy useradd - segmentation fault


everytime i want to add a user, invoking with useradd, an error "segmentation fault" come out.

I dont understand what does it means. Anyone had experienced this before? Please give suggestions & advice.

it means that the prog tried to access memory that doesn't belong to it. There is nothing I like to see less than that. short of maybe checking for an update and reinstalling the neccesary component I don't think there is much you can do about that.
