I am currently using RH9 and I am offering some friends access via SSH. Now, I would like to restrict them to their directory and only their directory in /home/username. Is there any way I can do this so they cant cd out?
Try setting it to chroot into /home/username. I can't remember if it is possible (I am not in front of a Linux box at the moment) however it would restrict the user to remain inside the chosen directory (which would appear to be /).
