used apt-get install to get dtc package, how do I get a previous version
I've got versiuon 1.2 of package dtc. I installed it
using apt-get install. But I want version 1.1 of it installed instead. How do I get that ? cheers |
You should provide us at least with the most basic infos. What version of what distro do you use.
|
ok, its debian linux. It was the latest one from the debian download site.
|
Search for the package you want.
http://packages.debian.org/search?ke...ll§ion=all Then download it and use either dpkg or gdebi to install it. By latest Debian do you mean Stable/Lenny or Testing/Squeeze? |
lenny.
This isn't helping ! there's loads of dtc packages and none of them say they are version 1.1 which is what I'm looking for. Everything's so hard in linux, makes me want to give in.. |
anyone ?
