Use nm-applet for JUST modem manager (not networks)

Howdy All,

So I use a connman front end for managing my Wireless/Wired connection, however I do have a 3G modem I use off and on as well and Connman does not support this.

I was wondering if there is a way I can setup nm-applet so wireless/wired connection is always disabled, this way it is effectively just a modem manager and my connman can handle my wifi

Can this be done? If this can't be done can someone else recommend a good standalone GUI front end for the modemmanager?

I am using Ubuntu 10.04

Regards,
~Jeff
