USB-Driver Problems after recompiling the kernel

after i recompiled my kernel i couldnt initialize the module usbcore anymore i just get error msges unresolved symbol d_alloc_root_R0...
unresolved symbol d_instantiate_,....
unresolved symbold schedule_timeout....
unresolved symbol __const_udelay...
and so on...

Any clue how i can solve that?
(i already compiled&installed the kernel with & without usb support.. )

did you do a make modules and make modules_install? when you're upgrading or recompiling a kernel, forgetting to remake the modules can cause unresolved symbols all over the place.

hmm i guess the driver is already installed because the network card has the same problem but i can use it... i dont know why but it looks like that my computer doesnt like that 2.2.19 kernel ... i also dont know why i get keyboard timeouts .. think the hardware is ok.. but ok im gonna update the kernel to 2.2.4 i had no problems wih 2.2.15
