URGENT Help with Grub Install stage 1 error
 

I have win XP and Fedora on my system. I deleted one of my drive partition in windows. after that i tried to install Java Desktop System but that for some reason failed. after that i tried to boot from GRUB, it failed.

I tried to install GRUB using the standard method but it says that "error reading Stage 1". Tell me what to do.

Please help

get a boot floppy .... get into ur linux distro and just reinstall the grub system..... using he grub-install followed by the device name of ur hard disk, like /dev/hda or /dev/hdb or /dev/hdc or /dev/hdd which ever is urs and just reboot things will work fine....

Hey thanks for the idea. i don't have boot floppy first of all. and second i had done this already using 1st CD of the distro. after this oly i get this error. :-(
