Upgrading to WineX 3.2.1 ??

I have installed WineX 3.1 and it worked fine,
now I have a new RPM Package - 3.2.1
how can I install it now?
I installed the RPM like normaly but it doesn't change anything in the WineX version.
Do I have to uninstall the 3.1 version?
And is there a new command? In the 3.1 version it was "winex3", is it still the same?
Thanks

well if your saying that you installed the new package (3.2.1) and when you try using wine it says the old version, and if your also saying that if you did in fact install this new package, and that there was no conflicts and it was a successful install, then all this info would lead me to believe that the executable is not "winex3" like your previously installed version ...
try typing "wine" or "winex" and see if you get any output ...

winex3 is still the "executable" (actually a shell script), located at /usr/bin/winex3.

Pardon my ignorance as I don't use RPMs, but how do you know "it doesn't change anything?"

I deleted the files manually..... I deleted /usr/bin/winex3 and all other files from wineX....now, after installing the new WineX I even don't have winex3! Nothing!!!

I just read that I can't use Wine and WineX on the same computer! I have to choose one.
Is that right?

not with precompiled packages (as rpms). That just applies to the CVS version of WineX as far as I know...

Now it works....but the command is only wine...but when I make "wine -v" or --version it says 3.2.1 and the games work fine. Only Command and Conquer Red Alert 2: The missions start fine but then when I want to start all my units explot or die and Mission is Failed!!!

I know that problem. It is a lame EA attempt against piracy. I think that the copy protection of C&C believes that you have a fake copy of the game when running under wine. Try to get a no-cd patch from www.astalavista.com, install it and see if it helps :S

Sorry Megaman X.... I could only find NO-CD Cracks for the extension: Yuris Revenge or how it is named....I also tried with that ones but it doesn't work because its only for the extension...
Do you know where I can get the NO-CD Crack only for the Normal 1.0 Edition?
Thanks
