Upgrading LICQ


I'm using LICQ 1.1 version. I want to update it to 1.2 version. I downloaded it from Licq.com but I'm upable to install using K RPM manager. it juz keep crashing when I attempt to install. is there any other way?

get tar.gz and compile the hard way

if you carefully read the README / INSTALL files, it is not so hard.

You can also use the package manager to remove your old LICQ first, and then install the new package. It seems to have worked for me.
