Upgrading gnumeric of Red Hat 7.2

Hi
The gnumeric of my Red Hat 7.2 is unable to open certain files directly. I need to import the files and then specify delimiters in gnumeric to open the file.

I cannot upgrade my red hat machine version 7.2 to anything else due to some constraints, so I want to upgrade the gnumeric version, which might make opening of my files easier.

Please advise which latest gnumeric version is compatible with red hat 7.2, from where can I get it and how can I install it.

Thanks.

Have you tried rpmfind.net? They have some redhat 7.3 rpms. That might be good enough for the upgrade, any newer than that and you'd be upgrading half a system searching for dependencies.

I'd say your most likely out of luck on something that old then.
