Upgrading Evolution 1.5.94.1 to 2.0 on RHEL

I have a system running RHEL 4 beta, that I am wanting to upgrade the Evolution to the stable 2.0.1 version. I have the source, but I am a newbie. Can anyone point me towards a step-by-step guide or some other easy to follow guide/site?

I also have RHEL 3 WS, and will be wanting to upgrade from 1.4 to 2.0 once I get the beta worked out. The RHEL 3 machine is a little more needed, so I 'tinker' with the beta system first.

Also, do I need to upgrade the GNOME from the 2.7 version used in the RHEL 4 beta to the stabel 2.8.0 at the same time or before I upgrade EVO?

Thanks,

JimmyB
