Upgraders: How to make old system read new filesystem on LVM?

- 4.1.1. I have LVM 1 installed and running on my system. How do I start using LVM 2?

- 4.1.2. Do I need a special lvm2 kernel module?

- 4.1.5. Does LVM 2 use a different format from LVM 1 for it's ondisk representation of Volume Groups and Logical Volumes?

Thanks, I didn't know that one (only older versions from Sistina and tldp). That means I'm stumped, it is probably too much effort to upgrade SuSE 9.0 to LVM 2 when I have SuSE 10 up and running ... well, perhaps on christmas, should I find some spare time ;(
