Updating vidalinux lost some graphics

i just updated all my packages using porthole and now my gnome splash screen when i log in is a gentoo one and at the gdm login screen the icon next to my suer name is a head with a question mark in it instead of the old icon. doesn anyone know ho wi can get theswe back or what package did this?
