updating pidgin?


how doyou update pidgin for yellowdog. i am running yellow dog 6 on my ps3 and i would like to update the pidgin which is currently at version 2.0.2-3. i want the newest version of 2.4 or whatever it is. can any one help?

yup did that and i get an error that says cannot find update match

The repositories you have configured may not have updates available. Check for other repositories that may have an updated pidgin, etc.
