Updating Linux, which software?

I want to update Linux, I have Redhat 7.2 and 7.3, and want to update it.
Any suggestions? I heard Redhat is not free anymore, but there is Fedora.
Where to download it from? What's better?

If you're coming from a RedHat background, I'd reccomend a nice Mandrake or Fedora Core - both of which are available from http://iso.linuxquestions.org

Just beware that the mirror links at linuxiso.org do not seem to be absolutely up-to-date, so find a mirror for what you want, and navigate back through it's directories a little to find the most up-to-date stable version of the distro you have chosen.
