Updating KDE to new version
I'm currently running Slackware 14. 64 but I'm debating on going back to 13.37 due to a broadcom issue. What I'm wondering is, is it possible to update KDE after 13.37 installation to the newer version ?

Hi:
I looked for you and the only thing I could find is how to upgrade from 13.37 to 14.0- ftp://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackwar...nt/UPGRADE.TXT This is current for your distro and the only 2 article's I could find. KDE 4.8.2 for Slackware http://blog.lysender.com/2012/04/kde...kware-current/ Upgrade instructions: If you are currently running “alien” packages for KDE 4.8.2 and want to upgrade to the official packages in Slackware-current, then you’ll have to be prepared for some manual labour. http://alien.slackbook.org/blog/slac...-4-8-2-hooray/ Looks like work; Ace; good luck! |
