update package


if not apply up2date for RHEL server , can use yum to update the server , are they doing the same thing ? if not , what is their different ? thx

If you are using official RHEL versions then you can't use yum (I am not sure about RHEL 4). CentOS and other RHEL rebuilds use yum to keep systems updated.
