Update OOO taskbar icons to pt to V2

Guys,
running RH FC3.
Originally, OOO v1.1 was installed on my box when I got it, with individual icons on the desktop taskbar for Writer, Calc, Impress.
Everything fine.
Have now installed OOO v2 from OO website, via Linux RPM instructions. Also installed the openoffice.org-redhat-menus-2.0.1-1.noarch.rpm from the desktop-integration sub-dir that comes with the pkg.
The new versions appear along with the old versions in the Office sub-menu & work just fine.
However, the icons on the taskbar just say eg : Command: oowriter in the Launcher properties. No version specified, so it continues to launch the old version.
How do I update them to launch v2 apps?
TIA

You need to find where OpenOffice 2 installed to. I think it is /opt. Then simply change the "Command" in the launcher properties to the new value.

In a terminal window, type "locate -i openoffice" and see what the results are. It should find both OO1.1 and OO2. Change to the OO2 directory, and the actual programs in the "program" subdirectory. You should be able to run them using "./ooffice" The command you need to put in the launcher is the full path to these programs.

I hope this helps

The only thing under /opt is the rpms .. :-(
Had a good look round, but can't figure where it's put ooo v2, even though ( as i said), it works from menus.
