Been trying to install unreal tournament, and since insanity is repeating the same thing over and over expecting different results every time, it's starting to get insane.
I've tried using the emerge function, the normal installer, re-emerging bash, playing with the permissions in tmp, logging into x as root, running it with bash, or sh (which is just bash symlinked, but it seems to work anyway), giving new locations, and yet, behold.
bash-2.05b$ sh ut*
Verifying archive integrity...OK
Uncompressing Unreal Tournament version 436 Linux install.......................................................................
ut-install-436.run: ./setup.sh: /bin/sh: bad interpreter: Permission denied
The program returned an error code (126)
bash-2.05b$
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what the problem is. Checking the readmes, and everything /should/ be okay. If someone wants to look at the shell script source, it's on lokigames.com I just HAVE to be missing something here!
Yeah, I do. It's gentoo, so, there's plenty of the neccicary stuff. And I'm not missing any dependancies. Bash is up to date, and everything is normal, yet I seem to be the only one experencing this problem...
