Unhappy "UNTANGLE" installation : Where to add clients ???


I installed untangle on Ubuntu 7.10(Desktop edition).But i dont know how to do the client settings.Untangle is used as gateway.Server is on comp having
IP starting with 219.... and clients are having ip like 192.168....

How to do client settings????

I thought "untangle" comes as .iso that is installed as OS in the system as it is built on linux kernel.
Anyhow, you can download documentation for untangle in pdf format at http://www.edgedefender.com/Documentation.asp

Yes,it comes as .iso, but it can be installed on existing linux distro....Debian and Ubuntu.It is called Untangle Gateway Lite.

If it is same as the Untangle server then will look at it and then post.
Have not fiddled with untangle for some time now.

Untangle acts as a gateway server for the network.
You need two network interfaces in the system with untangle installed.
Configure the external interface with the relevant IP address, netmask and other info that is asked.
Similarly you need to configure the internal interface according to the ip addressing you have undertaken.
Now launch the untangle and it will give some tabs on the left hand side. Use the tabs to administer the untangle server.
If you still need something please give more information about the network and the untangle server and what exactly you are trying to do.
