Unsupported checksum type GTKPod and iPod Touch 4G
Hey guys, what's up? Long time no see.
Let's get right to the point, I have a 4G iPod Touch and I'm able to mount it on Ubuntu 11.10, however, when I try to write changes to the database of the device I get an error that goes like this:
Quote:

Unsupported checksum type

Does anybody knows if it's possible to write down changes to the iPod database? Have anybody found the solution to this?
Anyway, thanks for everything ^__^
EDIT: I'm using iOS5

Hello,
Since your device is newer, it is not fully supported (as far as the version of the database hashing). Try jail breaking your device, and downgrade your database on your phone, if you want it so bad to work with gtkpod. Besides doing that, it is not supported, and you will have to wait until the devs do their thing
Cheers,
Josh
