unregister_netdevice

After I installed my wireless card, I get this message when I shut down my machine:

"unregister_netdevice: waiting for eth1 to become free. usuage count=2"

This is a problem because I can't shut down my computer at all and I have to press and hold the power button to get my machine to power down. How do I fix this so that my machine can shut down by itself?
