Unreadable submenus in Firefox 2.0.0.13

I am now using a 1920 x 1080 HDTV as a monitor and have found that I
have to enlarge the font setting's generally and in firefox to make
the display readable.

I have set the minimum font size in firefox to a reasonable size
and the menus and other selectable features of the interface are
now very readable. However, the submenu "popups" are still so small
as to be unreadable and I can't find a way to increase their font size
through the "preferences" settings.

I have tried the userChrome example below:

menupopup > {
font-size: 15pt !important
}

but it has had no effect.

How do I change the submenu popup font sizes?

Alternatively, how can I specify the use of 100dpifonts only in x86.
In windows you can just select a font size of 96 to be applied
universally.
