unistall Grub


I unistall Linux SuSe 9, all partition delete, but Grub stay.
I have window XP I tried to reinstall XP but grub stay.
How can I remove Grub

use a windows boot floppy win98 will work. You can find them on the net if you don't have one.

boot with it and do a format /mbr

that should do it

Thanks, So plug win 98 into My PC which has Win XP, and grub as a starter , where I write the instruction,

boot up machine with win98 boot floppy A.K.A.

turn computer off
put in win98 boot froppy
turn computer on

when pc is done booting from floppy

type: format /mbr

take floppy out
reboot pc
done

Dear Nezzo,

I wrote fdisk/mbr insted of format/mbr and it works perfect
