Unhappy Uninstalling Linux!!!!!!


Hello I installed mandrake linux 8.1 recently trying to set up a server, anyway. I am now trying to uninstall it but I've had no success. I tried the boot disk with linux fdisk but it doesnt work, i've tried erasing the partitions with dos fdisk and it doesnt work, can any one help me, aim me at pixelhyped or email me at rene@pixelhype.net to help me out. thanks.

sounds to me you should have wiped it out.. what is the problem.. does grub or lilo still appear at bootup ?? fdisk /MBR to wipe it out as well..

get partition magic. It a prog like fdisk, but it's thousand times better (and you have a GUI)

If shelling out $$ for Partition Magic is not what you intent on spending your budget, then get a set of boot disks for Win2000 from a pal who has Win2000 running(I hope he/she wouldn't mind), and you can reformat linux partitions to FAT32 or NTFS whatever suits your needs
