"I am trying out Suse Personal 9.1 and Mandrake 10.0 CE but I found out today that I need an fdisk ( floppy or similar ) to uninstall Suse Personal in order to try out the other Linux operating systems. Can anyone tell me how I might buy or downlaod an fdisk file, to uninstall (until I finally make up my mind which Linux system I like best)?"
All you have to do to uninstall SuSE Personal is install Mandrake 10.0 CE over the top of SuSE. Tell the Mandrake installer to format the SuSE partition.
I recommend that you set up three partitions on your hard drive, SuSE, Mandrake, and swap. Install both SuSE and Mandrake and dual boot the two distributions. They can both use the same swap partition. That way switching bewteen the two distributions only requires a reboot.
