uninstall
hello, i'm quite new in linux so my problem may seem quite simple to you, but i don't know where to search the answers, i've got a few book and review, but it daes'nt speak of it.
My question is quite simple, when you have install a program or a link what is the procedure too cut the link ot to uninstall the program. Until now, all i was able to do was to reinstall completely Linux. I would be very grateful if somebody can help me thank you christian |
Having a symbolic link doesnŽt stop you from uninstalling programs. The safe way to remove programs is using the package manager, youŽll find it under System-->Configuration-->Packaging-->Remove Software. Once the app is running just type the name of the program you want to remove, a search will be performed, if the program exists you will have the opportunity to select it for removal. Symbolic links can just be deleted in the normal way.
